The gardens are beautifully landscaped, but the decor feels outdated.

I found the ambiance a bit off when the only relaxation space after dinner was a study that closed early, leaving us feeling unwelcome like an uninvited guest. I had some awkward moments with bar staff when I simply wanted to move a table for better sunlight or request a G&T in a nicer glass. their reactions felt a bit petty and less than gracious.

the food was delicious and there were good sized portions. loved the lovely hotel grounds and the staff were very friendly and helpful. the location is super nice, perfect for a family getaway.

the room could have been cleaner and the check-in process took too long. also, the soundproofing wasn't great, we could hear noise from the hallway.

The restaurant was exceptional, both the food and the service outstanding. They treated us like we were royalty, and I still remember that perfect lamb steak they served us.

The only bummer was that the lounge areas felt a bit cramped during peak times, but overall, we had a great stay! 🌟

I had a delightful family getaway with fantastic meals. The evening in the Kintyre Restaurant stood out—the fillet steak was perfectly cooked, paired with a delightful wine selection. Don't miss the high tea in the Drawing Room. the pastries were heavenly! Book your table in advance for a stress-free experience!

The food was absolutely delicious! The bread toasts were crispy with a delightful crunch, and hearty portions left us feeling well-satisfied. Plus, the grounds had a lovely vibe – perfect for a stroll after a meal.
